Melissa Nelson, MSN, CNM, WHNP

Melissa Nelson, MSN, CNM, WHNP, is a certified nurse midwife with Ob-Gyn Associates. She completed her undergraduate degree at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, and received a bachelor of science in nursing degree and her master’s degree with a women’s health and midwifery specialty from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.
She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses. Her particular areas of interest include normal physiologic birth, postpartum depression and breastfeeding.
