All pregnancies are special. But if you have diabetes or other endocrine disorders, your health care needs are unique.
Our team is highly experienced in caring for pregnant women. We provide the specialized care you need for a safe pregnancy and a healthy baby.
You are likely to have many questions. Our team works with your obstetric provider to educate you about your diagnosis and help manage your treatment plan.
Our multidisciplinary team includes obstetric medicine physicians, an endocrinologist, maternal-fetal medicine specialist, clinical dietitian, registered nurse (RN) and certified diabetes outpatient educator (CDOE). Our physicians are board-certified, nationally recognized specialists and serve on the faculty of the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
Our team is committed to a collaborative model of care. As requested by your referring provider, we offer:

- diabetes education by an RN/CDOE
- glucose meter instruction by an RN/CDOE
- insulin administration teaching by an RN/CDOE
- a one-time physician consultation before a planned pregnancy or during pregnancy
- co-management of diabetes and endocrine disorders during pregnancy and postpartum
One of our physicians is available to answer your questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
