Bone Density Testing / Bone Health
The bone densitometry unit at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative is the first facility in Rhode Island to be accredited by The International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). This accreditation recognizes the excellence of our technical team and the quality of our bone densitometry program.
All patients are scanned by a trained, ISCD-certified bone density technologist and all exams are read by a board certified endocrinologist who is also an ISCD-certified clinician.
Our goal is to provide the best possible care with your needs in mind. We provide testing services for men and women (age 18 years and older) on our new Hologic densitometer. We can accommodate patients who weigh up to 450 pounds and those who arrive by wheelchair or stretcher.

There is easy access to our facility off the highway and parking is free!
