Women's Specialty Services

At the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, we offer specialty services for non-pregnant and pregnant women. Our all-woman staff provides our patients with comfort and privacy, as well as unparalleled expertise and experience.

Our specialty services include:

  • Pulmonary Medicine Consultation
We provide pulmonary consultation and pulmonary function testing.
  • Asthma Management Program
Staffed by a board-certified pulmonologist, a nurse practitioner who is a certified asthma educator, a respiratory therapist who is also a certified asthma educator, and an obstetric internist, our program offers comprehensive asthma management.
  • Pulmonary Diseases in Pregnancy
In collaboration with the patient’s referring obstetrician, midwife, obstetric internist or other health care provider, a coordinated plan of care is developed for pregnant women with acute and chronic pulmonary disorders.
  • Infectious Diseases Consultation
The Women’s Medicine Collaborative offers consultative services for pregnant and non-pregnant women with infectious diseases such as MRSA, tuberculosis, shingles, staph infection, and HIV.
  • Women's Cancer Survivorship Program
From the day a diagnosis of cancer is made, survivorship begins.

The "I Am”: Women’s Cancer Survivorship Program looks beyond a cancer diagnosis and treatment, and focuses on an integrative approach to address a woman’s individual physical and psychosocial needs. A comprehensive evaluation and plan of care will include a cancer treatment summary, nutrition guidelines, exercise recommendations, stress management strategies, genetic susceptibility assessment, sexuality and reproductive concerns, and coping with the physical and emotional needs of women survivors. Recommendations for cancer surveillance and health maintenance, addressing the effects of treatment and regaining physical and emotional well-being, are the cornerstones of this program.

Our team of caring, experienced providers understands that women with cancer are more than their diagnosis. We appreciate and value who you are. When we speak to our patients, they tell us: “I am a mother.” “I am a wife.” “I am a grandmother.” We recognize you as a person living with cancer and offer individualized life care plans to optimize well-being, assist in disease prevention, and enhance quality of life.

  • Perinatal Hepatitis Program
