Women's Primary Care Providers

Iris Tong, MD, is director of Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.

An assistant professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Tong received a medical degree from Cornell University Medical College in New York, and completed her residency in general internal medicine at Alpert Medical School, where she also served as chief resident. 

Tong is board certified in internal medicine. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Tong is immediate past chair of the Women's Health Advisory Committee of the Rhode Island State Department of Health. Her clinical and academic interests include medical education, particularly in the field of women’s health. 

She is director of the Doctoring Course at Alpert Medical School and clinical director of the women’s health track in the General Internal Medicine Residency Program at Alpert Medical School/Rhode Island Hospital.  Tong is fluent in English, French and Cantonese.


Courtney Clark Bilodeau, MD, is an attending physician in Obstetric Medicine and Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.

She received a medical degree from Chicago Medical School, completed her residency in internal medicine at Rhode Island Hospital, and completed a fellowship in obstetric and consultative medicine at Women & Infants Hospital.

Bilodeau is a member of the American College of Physicians, the North American Society of Obstetric Medicine and the International Society of Obstetric Medicine. Bilodeau is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical and research interests include the relationship between chronic medical illnesses and pregnancy, and evidence based alternative medicine practices.

 

 


Sheenagh Bodkin, MD, is an attending physician in Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.

A clinical instructor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Bodkin received a medical degree from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. She completed her residency at Boston Medical Center, in Boston, Massachusetts where she also served as chief resident in ambulatory care. She is a member of the American Medical Association and the Rhode Island Medical Society.

Bodkin is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical and research interests include women’s health issues.

 


Kathy Rebeiro, NP, is a nurse practitioner in Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.

She received a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Rebeiro is a board certified adult nurse practitioner and has been certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

She is a certified asthma educator. Her clinical and research interests include women’s health issues, asthma and patient education.

 

 

 


Marisa Van Poznak, MD, is an attending physician in Women’s Primary Care at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.

She received a medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, New Hampshire and completed her residency in internal medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Van Poznak is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Medical Women’s Association. Van Poznak is board certified in internal medicine. Her clinical and research interests include women's health and primary care.
