The Women’s Medicine Collaborative is pleased to offer a program in mindfulness based stress reduction. The program is designed to help cultivate greater skill in navigating daily stressors and in meeting challenges with greater ease and balance.
The program helps participants cope with role stress, work-related stress, insomnia, chronic worry and anxiety, chronic illness and pain, or as a caregiver for someone with chronic illness. Participants will learn practices that facilitate greater awareness and balance of mind, body and spirit through mindfulness meditation practices and gentle yoga.
The next course runs from May 23 through June 27, 2012 and consists of:
Orientation on Thursday, May 10 at 5:30 P.M.
Weekly classes beginning on Wednesday, May 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M.
The location is at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative, 146 West River Street, 2nd floor, Providence, RI.
Parking is free.
Cost for the program is $275.
This is a shortened 6 week course.
